Frequently Asked Questions About T1+T2 Surge Protector
What standards apply?
The T1 + T2 Surged Protective Device can be tested by the standard of IEC 61643-11 / GB/T 18802.11, and there are documents available for its type-testing.
Does a T1+T2 SPD need additional Type 3 protection?
In order to protect sensitive equipment, a Type 3 SPD must be placed close to the equipment so that they synchronize with each other.
What is Iimp of the LT-7T / LT-12.5T?
The Iimp is mentioned in the specification of LT-7T / LT-12.5T with a value between (e.g. 6.25kA-25kA, 10/350us), which shows the amount of the current flowing through it.
Can I order samples for testing?
Of course, samples of the equipment can be ordered, and a competitive price can be provided for B2B companies.
What is a Type 1+2 SPD?
Type 1+2 SPD uses the principle of lightning protection which can discharge both lightning and surge, meaning that it provides the lightning discharge capacity (10/350us) and surge (8/20us).
